We offer Fire Retardant foam passing BS 5852 standards (British standard for assessing the ignitability of single material combinations, e.g. covers and fillings used in upholstered seating, or complete items of seating, when subjected either to a smoldering cigarette or to flaming ignition sources of thermal output ranging from that of a burning match to that approximating to the burning of four double sheets of full-size newspaper, as might be applied accidentally to any item of furniture.

We process these foams with Polyester & Polyether Polyurethane base to meet specific industrial & technical applications. Flame Retardant foams are processed by adding flame retardant additives during the time of foaming to meet various fire code standards. These special additives help foam to slow down fire & also get itself extinguished at the time of the fire.
